Rifle Wall Safe
A rifle wall safe is designed to fit right
into your wall between studs. This is a space saving design. You don't have to
lose precious floor safe when using this model for storage of long guns.
Finding Studs for Your Rifle Wall Safe -
Take some kind of heavy object and tap lightly to locate your studs or
go to hardware store and buy a battery operated stud finder. Once you
find one stud, try measuring 16 inches right or left. If you locate a
stud at this new location then your studs are 16" on center which is
what you need to easily install the Closet Vault. |

There is no need to install the rifle wall
safe flush to the floor. In fact, you have to allow at least 3 1/2 inches
off the floor because the floor may have a double bottom plate which would make
it hard to saw into. Install your rifle wall safe at a level that seems most
convenient to you.
